Dear Readers,
Welcome to the thirteenth issue of Voices and Visions, “Renewal.” Still working virtually, our staff wanted a theme that encompassed this liminal time: one of transition, bloom, continuation, lingering fears, and one with an eye towards the future. We hope our readership connects with this theme in any way that moves them and is as inspired by the work of our contributors as we are.
Our team never ceases to be amazed by the work we receive. This issue was no exception. We have pieces from all over the country, from Georgia to Minnesota and Virginia to Massachusetts, and an amazing poem from an alum from Lady Irwin College in Delhi, India. Our contributors took the theme in all directions, weaving in beautiful imagery, powerful metaphors, and resonant personal messages.
We appreciate the work of our contributors as well as all of our readers, who all continue to uplift us in these difficult times. We hope this issue can be an outlet to all who need it, and we cannot wait to see you in the fall.
Sincerely,
The Voices and Visions Editorial Team
